Hot Springs at Manikaran

When in Kullu, visiting the hot springs in Manikaran is one of the must-do activities, it lets you have a spiritual experience and as well gain remedial benefits from the hot water springs. The Manikaran hot springs are located around 45 km away from Kullu. The hot water springs contain sulfur, and are believed to have remedial benefits if taken a dip in these hot water springs. The Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara provides langar which is a community kitchen to offer free meals to the visitors, this meal is cooked in the water taken from the hot water spring. The Shiv temple is belived to be the place where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati meditated here for more than thousands of years. Also, the environment around Manikaran is breathtaking, it is surrounded by the majestic snow covred mountain ranges, the dense forest, the Parvati River flowing beside Manikaran hot water spring complex, the green valleys, and the quaint villages.
