The best time to visit Tabo village is from May and October, as these months offer favorable climatic conditions and the roads are accessible. Avoid the winter months as the roads become inaccessible and is covered with snow and is extreme cold.

The closest airport is Bhuntar Airport (Kullu-Manali Airport). From the airport, tourists can hire a taxi or take a bus to Tabo.

By Train

The closest railway station to Tabo is Kalka or Chandigarh, from here take a bus or hire a taxi to Tabo through Shimla.

By Road

From Manali: If coming by road from Manali, travelers will have to take the Manali Route. The distance is around 149 km and will take around 8-10 hours. The road from Manali to Tabo through Rohtang Pass and Kunzum Pass remains open from late May to mid-October, depending on weather conditions.

From Shimla: If coming by road from Shimla, travelers will have to take the Shimla Route. The distance is around 365 km and will take around 10-12 hours. The road from Shimla is opened throughout the year, but the route can be challenging during the winter season.
